About myself

Ana Escar Puisac is a plastic artist based in Huesca.
She graduated at the University of Fine Arts in Barcelona, deepening her knowledge at the Royal University of Fine Arts in Stockholm.

An ephemeral architecture course at the Art & Design Centre Escola Massana of Barcelona started off her professional career in museums such as the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA), the Museo Picasso Málaga and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.

Over the last 10 years she has been combining her artistic facet with her work at museums, splitting her heart between Huesca, Barcelona, Stockholm and Bilbao, places where she has both worked as well as exhibited her works of art.

Ana works from within, where feelings and life itself are stored. She captures moments, people, places and transforms them into stories. She uses the written word as a working tool and painting as a means of expression.

Lover of small things, of sharing time, laughs and hugs, here and there.

Collagist, painter and storyteller.
